August 2026 update

We're pleased to advise that East Lothian Council responded very favourably to our Pre-Planning application, which now clears the way for a Full Planning Application submission.

We've also had 3 quotes back for construction. The costs are higher than originally projected and we are currently reviewing these together with the costs involved in submitting a full planning application.

Finance 

- Grants

A Sports Scotland Funding application is underway to help fund the build of this new community facility, and we will submit this before the end of August. This is critical to the success of the project.

 - Loan Funding.

Thanks again to those of you who have kindly pledged donations.

We still need to raise more funds to get the project started and we are exploring options. Based on our projections we believe the club can afford to repay a £200,000 loan. If anyone is interested in lending the club money to help deliver this community project, we would offer favourable terms. Any accountants out there? - We need your help!
